Emily has “stabilized”again. She has special covering on lung incision & abdominal incision is still open with special “plastic bag” over bowel. 3 chest tubes draining. Abdominal suction. New suction on ventilator. Large amounts of fluid draining off which is helping in many ways.
Especially helping organs function more normally , blood pressure stabilize, pressure off heart etc
They will start dialysis soon to help kidney function.
Overall outlook is a bit better than 2 hours ago-which was really poor. Her new lungs seem to be working well & so far not harmed by all this trauma.
Thanks again to everyone for your constant love & support. And always such gratitude & honor to donor & family.
Love Peg and Keith
So glad her lungs are working well and that she pulled through that rough patch. This is such a relief. Love love love.
