Update from OR. Emily’s first set of donor lungs have almost been removed & her new donor’s lungs are almost ready for transplant. The OR nurse reports her vitals are stable.
As always our strong brave Emily has met this new challenge, which she sometimes describes as “my
body at war”, with her usual grace and strength.
Thanks to you all for your love & support. It mean so much to her as she heals & recovers & breathes
And also to Keith and I through these long hours.
