Update: After long day of prep Emily was just transported from ICU to surgical prep area. This is a an area of serious activity....no wasted time....the pace really picked up.....met anthesiollgist...lots of final questions and starting meds. Much caution about still could be dry run and that this is gonna be much harder than first Tx. Very challenging to remove old lungs. Estimate of 10+ hours if a go...we will get a call when it’s a go..     Emily was strong and alert and ready for this.....Will try to post a update every few hours and hopefully this links to Ems FB.
