7:45 Update from OR. Emily’s first donor lungs are almost removed and new donor lungs almost ready to be transplanted. Nurse reports Emily’s vitals are stable. As always our lovely brave girl is
fighting this battle, which she once called “her body at war” with grace and dignity.
Thank you all of you for your messages of love and support. All these things will comfort her to read as she heals ... and breathes. Peg
